2022 UCI Mountain Bike World Cup. What an insane weekend!
Lourdes opened the 2022 season in style, a short and technical track made for tight racing times, with less than a second making the difference between 1st and 3rd for most categories.
Canyon Factory Racing
Very exciting to see the Entire Canyon Factory Racing team back at the races. Troy Bronson was unfortunately stuck at home with an injury, it was all up to Luca Shaw the newest rider to the team, as he grabs his first podium for the team in his first race onboard!
"Not a day I’m proud of. Struggled to find that race speed and go fast, however, the French crowd really turned it on!! The atmosphere was something else! Thank you LOURDES! Home to regroup and see the family then we go again for a big season ahead”
“What a crowd! So good to be back racing and share it with so many people again. The French really know how to put on a show. Walked away with a P16 which I’m pretty happy with considering that we didn’t have the smoothest week leading up to the race.”
They now pack their Albek bags and prepare for the next world cup on May 21-22 in Fortwilliam Scotland.
